We recently had the pleasure of working with Stephanie, who was relocating her company from Indiana to Texas and needed to retrofit her newly acquired warehouse space in Georgetown.
After several conversations to understand her needs, we arranged a meeting over breakfast in Georgetown to finalize the details. During our discussion, we assessed the layout and identified a few additional upgrades that would ensure the warehouse functioned efficiently for her operations.
Project Timeline
The retrofit was completed in approximately two weeks, staying on schedule and ensuring minimal downtime for Stephanie’s business transition.
Retrofit Execution
The build-out began with key modifications to the warehouse’s layout and infrastructure. We installed a new zoned HVAC system to give Stephanie better temperature control throughout the space. Then, we custom-built shelving units tailored to her storage and organizational needs. To create an open, flowing workspace, we removed the partition wall between two bays, effectively merging them into a single cohesive unit. These changes laid the groundwork for a workspace designed around her business operations—not the other way around.
With the layout optimized, we turned our attention to functionality. A double-compartment sink was installed to support cleaning and prep tasks, and we ran dedicated 220V outlets to power specialized equipment. We also resolved a lingering issue from the previous tenant—window AC units in the offices had been draining improperly into the warehouse bay. We re-routed the drainage with proper plumbing to ensure everything was safely and cleanly directed outside the building. These final touches made the space not just workable, but efficient and future-proof.
Ongoing Support
After Stephanie and her team moved in, she contacted us about an unexpected electrical issue. Though it turned out to be a fault in her equipment, not our installation, we went ahead and took care of it—no charge. For us, the relationship doesn’t end when the tools are packed up. We believe in standing by our work and supporting our clients long after the job is done. It was truly a pleasure working with Stephanie, and we look forward to helping her again when it’s time for her next expansion.
